Our history: scaling impact together

Downer Group was the very first business to step up and sponsor our workplace collection bins - placing Ripple Gear Drive bins in their Auckland offices, where they’ve remained ever since.

That early show of trust didn’t just help us grow - it helped keep the lights on during the earliest stages of our journey.

From hosting bins and connecting us with new community partner Cholmondeley Children’s Centre in Christchurch, to covering courier costs to deliver to the South Island, championing our toy pilots, and introducing us to like-minded organisations - Downer Group’s backing has been instrumental in helping us reach new regions and deepen our circular impact.

This support has come not only from leadership, but from Downer staff across sites - consistently filling the bins with donations. As one team member at Kerrs Road office shared:
